位于康涅狄格州的Wesleyan University (卫斯理安大学) 是美国最顶尖的文理学院之一，与Amherst College (阿默斯特学院) 及 Williams College (威廉姆斯学院)合称“Little Three”(小三杰)。

卫斯理安大学是一所相对规模较大的文理学院，本科在校生约3000人，并有150位左右的硕士及博士在读学生（研究方向为音乐、数学或科学项目）。该校共有45门主修专业，17门副修专业，12个认证项目(certificates)，及一众特色学科项目。卫斯理安大学有着非常活跃和充满生机的校园氛围，学生积极、思维敏锐、充满想象力，不仅关注于学习还对各种不同的事物有着浓厚的兴趣。学校给于学生很大的自由空间，允许学生自行设计课程，同时在课外也给于学生空间充分发挥自己的兴趣和才干。

卫斯理安大学以多样的学生群体和对国际学生的友好政策闻名，其著名的Freeman Asian Scholars Program是针对亚洲学生而特别设定。 这项源自1995年的奖学金项目，每年能吸引约300余位来自中国、香港、印尼、日本等11个亚洲国家及地区的学生争相申请，最终也只有11位极为优秀的学生能够获得四年制全额奖学金的殊荣。

Wesleyan University, along with Amherst College and Williams College, is the “Little Three” that represents the best quality of US college education and high academic standards. Comparing to other Liberal Arts Colleges, Wesleyan is relatively bigger in size. Students here are energetic, creative, curious and thoughtful, not only focusing on schoolwork, but also extracurricular activities. The courses are difficult but professors will do everything to help student to achieve their best performance. Wesleyan allows students to design their own courses plan. Wesleyan is also famous for its diverse student body and “international student friendly” policy. The well-known Freeman scholarship is specifically offered to Asian students.
